Welcome to the 57th Annual Northwest Mathematics Conference!
We are really excited to offer a rich program for teachers across all grade levels.

Please note: This app is a convenient way for you to plan which sessions you want to attend. Despite the app saying "Reserved Sessions", no session has reserved space. All sessions are on a first-come first-served basis. Most of our meeting rooms are very large so we are hopeful that you will get into the sessions you would like to. In the rare case that a session is full, we are confident that there are other excellent options for you to attend.

Mathematical Twins

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
We love to introduce our students to problems that have two or more completely different solutions. But have you ever shown your students what appears to be completely different problems whose solutions are mathematically identical? In this session we will work together to discover the "twins" among a group of problems. Come prepared to be surprised and of course to do some math!
