Welcome to the 57th Annual Northwest Mathematics Conference!
We are really excited to offer a rich program for teachers across all grade levels.

Please note: This app is a convenient way for you to plan which sessions you want to attend. Despite the app saying "Reserved Sessions", no session has reserved space. All sessions are on a first-come first-served basis. Most of our meeting rooms are very large so we are hopeful that you will get into the sessions you would like to. In the rare case that a session is full, we are confident that there are other excellent options for you to attend.

This hands on session will explore 4 lessons adapted and created for use in grades K through 3rd that capitalize on everyone's favorite fantastic building block. Principles of group work that promotes discourse will draw from Boaler's Mathematical Mindsets (2015) and Smith and Stein's Orchestrating Productive Discourse (2011).
